a coconut grove wedding for a modern couple

the lovely N&A pride themselves on being a quintessential miami couple. when they’re not leading bike tours, you can probably find them at a staple coconut grove dive bar. so it’s no surprise they wanted their wedding day to reflect their love of the tropics, just a few blocks away from fuller street.

a modern and unconventional couple called for a bold, bright, yet modern and simplistic wedding design. they wanted to make sure all the florals were locally sourced, reminiscent of their own lush backyard in miami. thankfully, even when it’s winter, it’s spring in miami. so there was no shortage of green to complete the look.

having grown up with a plethora of mango trees in his backyard, the groom wanted to incorporate fruit into the design. adding subtle details like this in your wedding design, is a great way to personalize the big day. it’s your story to tell, after all.

N&A are also huge history buffs, especially as far as miami’s rich history goes. this is another reason they were drawn to hosting their cuban/colombian/french melting pot group of friends and family on this iconic, historic property in the heart of the magic city.
